| Having the grace of understanding has helped me embrace everyone of every race. The love I have found through the course of my life- has awarded me the ability to convey the love of God unconditionally. I only pray that through the grace of life given unto each and everyone of you, you too, will gain the grace to love every man, no matter what you may think about him or her- in your mind. For we are all one, fit jointly together for the betterment of His glory. Give all praise to the one who created us all...and know, it is only by his divine order that we shall overcome the wickedness seeking to devour our souls. |

Unleashing the Fear in a Storm of Religious Bullies
Unveiling the gift of love that lye’s within us all, during the mist of a storm, has helped many regain their strength and rebuild their courage. Yet for many Christian’s who still are struggling to gain clarity on what is ethical when faced with the issue of homosexuality, New Hampshire’s first and only, openly gay Bishop- Gene Robinson, suggest “gays try to whether the storm of religious ignorance, and help usher in a new awakening in the age of Christian intolerance to embrace those they have been conditioned to hate.” For Bishop Robinson, the battle to educate a once unwelcoming congregation has become a way of living and a way of expressing the love he has found in the growth of spiritual awareness. Yet for other gay men and women, standing up and expressing the need for religious tolerance is not as easy. In an era when time seems so uncertain, the church is one place where most people turn to for guidance and inner strength. However, it is unfortunate; the church has become the last place many gay men and women turn to for guidance or spiritual rejuvenation. As an openly gay man myself, I have always found comfort attending Sunday morning service. Albeit I have not had the challenge of being faced with a church that is intolerant of my openly gay persona, I am very much aware of congregations that preach- homosexuality is an abomination and blatant slap in the face to our divine creator. Hence, I often question how people derive at such conclusion, especially since the bible teaches our God is a God of love. Even more, how could such a loving God hate something or someone- He created? Surely the verses conveyed in Leviticus 20 and Romans 1 has been the catalyst for much confusion within the church- when it comes to discussing homosexuality. Yet when I began researching the scriptures and comparing one revised edition to another, I found it strange that not every bible reads that homosexuality is an abomination. Moreover, I was taken aback to discover that homosexuality was not even a part of the English speaking language, until 1975, when it was implemented into the Oxford English Dictionary, and then added to the bible in 1980. Even more, it continues to baffle me just how much we as children of God, lack in our commitment to understand the messages of love within our written word. Albeit the bible conveys a message that such practice between two individuals of the same gender was considered against the law of the land, in that era of time, further research revealed King James ordained such intolerance, as a way of controlling the land. During his reign as King, when taming the mass of people was a must, King James found it conducive to implement laws forbidding same sex interaction, and utilized his authority as King to pass such laws. However, when I researched the history of King James, I found that he too, was very fond of younger, same sex counter parts. Yet the church does not convey this truth, or even provide a message that would allow the church congregation to become aware of such information. Instead, it seems we are willfully continuing the pattern of ignorance demonstrated by our ancestors, who were not permitted to gain clarity on any issue, because such privileges were not for bided. Here it is 2008, an era of high technical intelligence, where information is open for the taking, and we are still stagnating our growth as a people- over the issue of who is sleeping with whom. Contrary to what we have been taught in our church homes, it is our duty as followers and believers to take the initiative to go beyond what we have been taught, especially when we do not have the full truth on what it is we are being taught. Minister’s, Bishops, and Pastor’s gain their understanding of the scriptures by attending seminary’s, where they are taught the word of historical religious studies. We as attendee’s of various church congregations refuse to follow the same foot-steps because our lives are consumed with day-to-day commitments, which prevent us from absorbing such in-depth understanding. This is why we strive on the teachings offered by these elected governs. But when someone teaches me to dislike a particular sector of people because that sector of people do not demonstrate the same way of life I do, I am not often enticed to follow such recommendation- without first doing my own research on why the instructor has come to such an conclusion. Doing so, would mean someone else is thinking for me, whether than me thinking for myself. And to me, this is very apparent within the religious community, especially the Christian community. Or perhaps, its just that most church attendees are so filled with rage and anger, that opening their hearts to embrace someone who has a different sexual partner, who happens to be of the same gender, is completely absurd. Surely the bible conveys a message of love. A love that is gentle, gracious and unconditional. And since we are children of the Most High, isn’t it our duty to embrace our fellow man or woman regardless to who they have found love and comfort in? The messages shared within the bible were composed in an effort to help us find solace in a time when man could not provide such peace. Attending church is a time of renewal, not a time to vent our hatred towards a particular sector of people, who are freely expressing the message of love- we are taught to demonstrate. In order for the homosexual community to begin rebuilding its faith and belief in the church, it will require the compassion and commitment of fellow Christian’s- who proclaim to be closer to God, than everyone else, to begin re-educating themselves so they can begin actually walking in the wisdom shared throughout the bible. But in order for us to grow as a family and children of the Most High, we must begin rededicating ourselves and unleashing the ignorance we so often force feed our fellow man- in an effort to convey the truth which the divine words of wisdom so often instruct us on-Love one another in brotherly love. Forgive one another, as our Father in heaven has forgiven us. Refusing to demonstrate such an essence of maturity only continues to lead us astray. When one walks in the glory of divine love and light, given unto us all by our Heavenly Father, our lack of clarity is corrected through the actions we display to the rest of the world. The historical, once sacred laws of the bible were composed so that “we” could come to understand our purpose in this life. Its wisdom instructs us to search all things, correct that which is wrong, and embrace every man. For there is good is the worst of us, and bad in the best of us. God created us in an image of the spirit, a divine creation of love and abundant richness, filled with hope and unwavering courage. It is our own ignorance and intolerance that keeps us separated. And if we are to be separated, would God have given us the same spirit of life? Albeit Bishop Gene Robinson has overcome his own fears and intolerance, it is our time as believer’s and children of God to begin walking in a new era of living, so the generations to follow will not stumble downward in a struggle of misconceptions and misguided religious teachings. This scripture found in Proverbs 4:5-7 instructs us: “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom: and with thy getting get understanding.” http://authorbrad.tripod.com

After the funeral of one of the most helpful and dilligent elder in church I could not have he answer why the Creator took her home too early when she was so needed in church and her family.
i have delivered 6 messages in the nightly vigils to the attending relatives and friends and even to those whom I haven't met before, even to them in the neighborhood. I may not have the answer why but His Word will not return to Him void but will accomplish to what He sent it, and unless a single ear of corn fell to the ground and die, it will bring forth new plant to bud and spring forth many more ears of corn.
Only God knows. Praise His most Holy Name forever He's the same. Amen

When I was a little girl Mother brought me to a christian revival. The guest preacher was from Florida, USA. If my mind recalls right, he was James Clark with an evangelist companion i forgot his name. The evangelist called me and gave me a word of prophecy which I cannot remember all, but a portion went like this, "..I will mightily use you...you will lead those whom you do not know as far as whom I have called..and you will be a blessing... turn not to the left nor to the right serve me and I will surely bless you, and surely you will have good success.."
Years passed,in my high school days my parents brought us to a swimming picnic. The river was green and flowing deep My younger sister and me went to the deep swimming and she almost drowned, when I came to her rescue I almost drowned too. Mother at the river bank, shouted for help. My eldest brother rescued us both alive.
Since that day my mother would not allow us anymore to any outing, picnic or anything. She would always tell me, remember the prophecy. If you want it fulfilled take care of your life. She would not even allow us to listen to worldly music, nor worldy dances, no movies, no boyfriend, no to pornographic shows and magazines. She would prohibit us children (girls) to wear pants because whe would say these attire only belongs to men,. We had to wear dresses. In high school until college, she would visit us weekend at our boarding house, checked our church attendance at a pentecostal church near where we studied. Funny, i would be excluded from school parties as I did not know how to move my body right during dance practices. My classmates would call me weird and kill joy... I told mother about all these but she would tell me to remember the prophecy and she would say, God has called you and counted you worthy, or else you will be a cast away.
Those were the days... I have forgotten my past. But when I looked to what had been it was all God-led and not weird nor kill-joy.
With my husband now, God has put in our shoulders to run a ministry of churches all over the country, they may be small churches in my poor country. From our main church, where we pastor, we send support to pastors working in the hinterlands and remote mountains of Mindanao. One may ask where do we get support to help our co-pastors and build churches, in remote islands, the christian school we run though how tight finances are we can still budget for pastors support. Souls saved, specially students, policemen and churches planted in many parts of my country are all recorded in heaven.
Please remember us in your prayers that the Lord may bring in paying enrollees this coming School year 2008-2009 so we can go on with the normal program of church outreaches and supports. As of now we have food crises and prices are just so high... and everybody suffers financially even the schools we run..
what I learned from my godly parents, the same anointing flows to the member-churches. I teach my congregation not to be conformed, even in attire in clothing, in my church our youth do not wear clothes wherein navel and buttock are seen... even my daughter does not wear attire that does not glorify God, as written in II Cor 6: 17 " be ye separate, come out from among them...' Rom 12; 1 "..present your bodies a living sacrifice..holy acepptable before God... and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed... by the renewing of your minds..."
I learned not to be conformmed to this world... Why because i want to be caught up to meet Him in the air and this is not a joke. i want those whom I have also ministered and have believed Jesus Christ through my poor christian life would also meet Jesus in the air... it pays not to conform to this world...Praise God for a godly mother..."
the song says; Two men in the field grinding in the mill, then one is taken the other left behind, will you be ready when jesus comes...
"Say will you be ready when Jesus comes are you truly born againwashed in Jesus blood then one is taken, the ohter left behind, will you be ready when Jesus comes.."

God remains faithful. Praise God for His faithfulness... in rocky times God's faithfulness is ever to all generation...
The church I pastor, lost one of a very very important figure, the Martha in the church through accidental drowning when she tried to rescue a twelve year old in a shoreline sea...
Losing a church member and elder who for me is untimely at her age of 44, is painful and hard for me to preach nightly at the vigil but I must do it because God remains faithful and His faithfulness to all generations...
